What Process Do I Go Through When Starting With a New Diabetic Client:

 

The program takes 4 weeks to complete. We start with the preparation week. First, I assess my client’s health and current eating habits through an online questionnaire. I use a detailed online health assessment questionnaire and a 1-day food diary.

Then next, I provide the needed diabetes education part via the Online Portal with text and videos. This answers all your questions about type 2 diabetes, from – “What Causes Diabetes?” to “How to Reverse Insulin Resistance and Type 2 Diabetes?”. I also give tips on how to prepare for healthy clean eating.

Then, I send my clients the first plan – Health Improvement Tips for improving any health issues identified using the health questionnaire. I cover all areas starting from stress management, physical activity, sleep improvement to food supplements to improve your diabetes.

The following 3 weeks, you receive personalised 7-day meal plans with recipes and pictures, incorporating intermittent fasting and a healthy low carbohydrate ketogenic diet. Each day consists of main courses, desserts, and salads or smoothies. I make sure to include special meals or desserts specific to each client to keep them full and satisfied.

Each week is followed by a weekly progress assessment and an opportunity for my clients to give me feedback and request certain types of foods or meals to make sure they are happy about their meal plans.

My Approach

My name is Greta and I’m a low-carb keto nutritionist and a holistic health coach. I promote natural whole foods and the low-carb ketogenic way of eating because it is proven to be the most effective diet for long-term weight loss and improving health.

The ketogenic diet was created by doctors and scientists around 100 years ago with the purpose to treat diseases. This diet has been shown to be safe and effective for reversing or greatly improving conditions including obesity, type 2 diabetes, cancer, heart disease, early stages of dementia, post ovarian cystic syndrome, epilepsy, hypothyroidism, mood disorders, and a lot more.

Yes I will adjust the program and include meat-free recipes.

Can I join your program if I take diabetic medication?

Yes, following my program will stabilise your blood sugars and help you reduce medication. You will eat meals that don’t spike your blood sugar, which means, your blood sugars will gradually go down, and your need for medication will go down too. Usually, people are recommended to keep eating high carbohydrate meals, that cause huge blood sugar spikes, and then lower it with medication, which over time results in diabetes complications. It’s a much better idea to not increase it too much in the first place.
